Dr. Bonciel Griffin-Burress, a native Chicagoan who grew up on the south and west sides of Chicago, is a second generation orthodontist, who is dedicated to educating and improving the smiles of her patients in the community in which she serves. Dr. Griffin-Burress became an orthodontist because it allows her to do the two things she loves most - educate and transform smiles.
Participating annually in advanced continuing education courses, Dr. Griffin-Burress remains current with the latest orthodontic advancements and passes this knowledge on to her patients by creating perfect smiles.
In her downtime she enjoys mentoring interns, reading and spending time with her husband Sean, their three children - Devdan, Brooke and Bella, and their family dog, Shaggy. She’s been recognized for her outstanding contributions to the community, was selected as a 2020 Distinguished Alumna at Albion College and is the only African-American female to privately own multi-office orthodontic and dental practices in Chicago.
